The Isle of Man

A week long walking break on the jewel of the Irish sea, the Isle of Man is the perfect place to unwind. With an abundance of varied walking terrain the scenery will always be enchanting as will the history and friendliness of the islanders.

There will be a program of five days walking with a rest day for you to explore the history of the island or perhaps a steam train or tram ride.

The walks will include the Bayr Ny Skeddon [ the herring road ] the route taken by Manx fishermen from Castletown to Peel,   2 days on the Millenium Way the first long distance path on the island, Castletown to Port Erin a day walking around the coastal path to the south of the island with dramatic cliffs,  exploring the Laxey valley with the old mine workings and the Laxey Wheel,  and of course a walk up Snaefell the highest peak on the island.

Transport in a minibus to and from the walks and sightseeing is included, so no need to carry a large pack, the return ferry crossing from Heysham is also included with pickup points to be arranged.

For the week we will be staying in a small hotel with twin ensuite rooms with all the comforts of home, breakfasts and a packed lunch each day is included, evening meals are extra, the choice of food at local Inns and restaurants is extensive.

Join us for a week on the Three Legged island and sample the way life should be.
