Cotswold Way

This is a classic national trail full of beautiful Cotswold scenes from the delightful villages and towns to the rolling hills, from the open views all along the severn valley to the quiet beech woods this route has it all.

The total walk is 102 miles long so we will average around 14 miles a day, which should allow plenty of time to take in the sights. Starting at Bath we head north along the Cotswold escarpment to finish at Chipping Campden taking in Old Sodbury, Dursley, Painswick, Winchcombe and Broadway to name but a few of the picturesque Cotswold villages, mix these with the history and legends that names such as Cam Long Down and Hetty Peglers Tump inspire then you can see why the Cotswold Way is one of the country’s best loved national trails.

You will be taken to the start and returned back from each days walk by minibus, so you will only need to carry a day sack.

For the week we will be staying at the Slimbridge hostel with 6 bedded rooms for our sole use, the hostel is just 4miles off the Cotswold Way and has very good facilities, a good inn close by, we will stay for 8 nights with breakfasts and packed lunches included.

For the evening meals we will stop off after the walks at local eateries to sample the variety that the Cotswolds has to offer.
