| Welcome to Outdoor Scene Adventures, we hope this site will inspire you to venture into the great outdoors. My name is Mick and I run the events with Andy, I am a qualified Mountain Leader and Andy is SPA qualified for climbing and a kayak instructor, all leaders hold first aid certificates and are committed to your enjoyment and safety. We are based in Derby and have the Peak District on our doorstep where we offer day walks, weekend activities and climbing. Further afield we offer walking holidays on some of the best national trails in Britain, from the Scottish Borders to the Isle of Wight, we cater for individuals and groups or can tailor the holiday to your requirements or ability. All our holidays are guided. So come along and exercise your senses as well as your body. |  |
Take a trip to Another Place and experience the 100 Antony Gormley cast iron statues on Crosby beach, these were made from casts of his own form and stand in silence looking out to sea, those submerged by the tide are covered in barnacles at low tide. the best time to visit is when the tide is ebbing or at sunset. A full day walk in the Dark Peak around the top of Bleaklow to explore the sites of three of the most spectacular aircraft wrecks. The first a Canadian Airforce Skytrain the second a Lancaster and the third a USAF Superfortress, all on open exposed ground. | ||||||
