ANOTHER  PLACE A day out on the beaches around Formby and Crosby, the dunes and beach at Formby housing fossils and home to red squirrels, whilst Crosby is now the permanent home of the Antony Gormley cast iron statues, all 100 of them, standing in silence looking out to sea, at high tide most are covered and at low tide are exposed and covered in barnacles. The day involves an early pickup by mini bus, a stop for mid morning tea, a lunch stop at a local inn [ food not included ] entrance to Formby Point and return late evening     
METAL DETECTING Your chance to experience the art of metal detecting, including the hire of the detectors, you never know what you might find buried just below the surface, working in pairs to learn how to search, expose, care for and clean the treasure. 
WEASELING Sometimes called caving for claustrophobics this fun day involves being a child again and trying to squeeze through holes and gaps, going under and over rocks and getting dirty.
SCRAMBLING The art of moving over steep ground with the use of your hands as well as your feet on exposed area's up to the edge of climbing, no ropes or technical gear required. 
WILD CAMPING Weekend trips to north Wales where you carry all you need for a couple of nights out in the wilds with peace and quiet and no traffic, transport can be arranged for drop off and pick up
SUNSET / SUNRISE An experience of a light weight overnight stay on Mount Snowdon or one of the other Welsh peaks, with a bivi bag, sleeping bag and warm clothing to see a sunset and wake for the sunrise.   
ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY Come and explore your hidden talents with a paint brush or a camera, a weekend spent in the tranquil setting of Ashe Hall, home of the Tara Buddhist Centre, with a full day at a Peak District location including transport, bed & vegetarian breakfasts, a packed lunch, vegetarian lunch and the guidance of a local artist. You will need either a digital camera or acrylic or watercolour  paints and paper, we supply the settings.
